Honestly, with a package like this, who cares what it does. It's tin, it's got a leaping tiger on it. SOLD! But aside from that, it's an amazing product. I use it on my temples when I have a headache. It's all natural, containing camphor, menthol, mint and clove oil (apparently, it used to contain tiger bone also...)
It's definitely a good item to have around.

New Find: Palmer's Lip Butter
Yum! Dark Chocolate and peppermint flavored lip gloss. It's got a great consistency, not too glossy. Also, I love that basic black and white design. That's one of the signs of a great product to me, decades of undisturbed packaging.
Labels:
chocolate,
cocoa butter,
mint,
vitamin E
Candy! Chick-O-Stick
Coconut! A winner of an ingredient in my book. If it's got coconut in it, I'm interested! Just think of those amazing Coconut popsicles! Mmmmm reminds me to write about those ones...Anywho, look at these things!
Mmmmmm... Basically, sugar, peanut butter and toasted coconut (in that order) they're essentially Butterfingers minus the chocolate. Naked Butterfingers, yum.
New Find: Oatmeal Soap
Ok, so I've used Oatmeal soap before, here and there, sure it's great! But recently my sister got me hooked on this specific WAY to use it...
Here's the kicker: You use it on your face! I know, mention soap and faces to most gals and they gasp in horror. The thought of using a bar of soap on my face is something that took me some time to grasp. Once you try it though, it will make perfect sense. You see natural soap bars are made with far less ingredients than your average bottle facewash. One of the key ingredients in this soap is, doy, Oatmeal! Natural oatmeal roughage is a great exfoliator. Also, they're made with oil (vegetable oil) or some other kind of fat to help bind it together and whereas you might not want fat on your thighs, it's GREAT for the skin, gals.

The Old Standbys: Baby Oil
I just bought their shea butter baby oil, it smells SO good. It's the ol' Vaseline one trick pony deal, it's just mineral oil, nothing more. When you get right out of the bath, before you dry off, lather up with this stuff. I'm telling ya, it's the ultimate secret to younger looking skin, hey it works for babies.
The Old Standbys: Vaseline
Slippery Holy Grail!
When it comes to useful products, Vaseline takes the cake. It's lipgloss, it's lotion, it's cuticle cream. It's one ingredient, it's so simple!
Any dry or chapped part on your body could use it. Plus, you gotta love that font and the name, say it: Vaseline.

The Old Standbys: Witch Hazel
Here they are folks. The holy grails of the drugstore...
*Sigh* it really is the BEST! Now in Rose Petal? And they have a lavender. The website has so many amazing products, I wouldn't know where to start. I'm simply mad for this stuff. Use it as a toner after cleansing. Use it as a lotion after shaving. Use it to embalm my body when I kick the bucket. One thing's for sure, use it. It's fabulous.

Welcome ye lovers of products!
Hi there, welcome to my blog! I started it because I love drugstores and wandering around in them. I wanted a place where I could categorize all the great products that can be found there. Mainly, old timey type products, but you'll find there's definitely a rhyme and a reason to the products I'll post about. Enjoy!
